Marnie Ridout

Marnie Ridout was teaching elementary students at Jessie Wowk in Richmond when she teamed up with colleague Marnie Ridout to teach a year-long geology and mining unit for their Grade 3-5 students. Together they developed MineralsEd’s 3-D Rock Cycle Model supplement to the MineralsEd elementary resource units, and contributed to the Rocks & Dirt... activity book for students. Carole and Marnie teamed up to facilitate MineralsEd teacher Pro-D field trips, help judge student work for MineralsEd contests, and volunteer for student learning stations at the BC Mining Week Community Fair.
