Senior secondary students from SD83 are invited to participate in an all day field trip to Thompson RIvers University in Kamloops, BC for an
opportunity to learn about educational pathways available at TRU that can lead to an exciting and rewarding career in the minerals industry.
For over 50 years Thompson Rivers University has been providing high quality post-secondary education to students in BC's Interior. Now with more than 25,000 students attending classes in-person and online, TRU has established its self as a learner-centered university offering over 200 programs from trades certificates and diplomas to undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Students will get to meet with professors, instructors, and current students to find out how to start their career journey into trades, science, and engineering.
